      I just finished the small book last night by the World War 2 era German pastor on Christian community. Bonhoeffer was martyred for the faith after returning to Germany from America to be with the Christian community that he loved so much, particularly the other German pastors. One of these was Dietrich Bonhoeffer—a pastor and author. In this New York Times best-selling biography, Eric Metaxas takes both strands of Bonhoeffer’s life—the theologian and the spy—and draws them together to tell a searing story of incredible moral courage in the face of monstrous evil.

    This book is great, especially because it is written by Bonhoeffer's best friend and assistant. It is a great book that gives the reader an in depth understanding not only of Bonhoeffer's character Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a theologian of midth century, was arrested for been involved in a conspiracy having as goal Hitler's assassination.
